Welcome to the Human Resource Management module. This is a self-paced module scheduled for a notional 2 study hours. This module aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to set up and manage a robust Human Resource function, develop policies, manage staff and benefits, and overall compliance with the applicable laws and regulations while ensuring alignment with an organisation’s vision and mission. It provides an overview of Human Resource Management (HRM) principles and practices, tailored for organizations seeking to develop and implement effective grant practices. It focuses on aligning HRM strategies with good grant management to ensure sustainable, compliant, and efficient workforce management.

In Lesson 3: Compensation and Benefits, you will explore employee compensation and benefits compliance in relation to regulatory requirements. You will also gain a deeper understanding of the significance of payroll documentation and time sheet management.

In Lesson 4: Performance Management, Learning and Development, you will learn about the key concepts in performance management, the importance and key processes in performance management. This lesson typically covers key areas such as identifying training needs, creating development plans, implementing training programs, and measuring their effectiveness.
