Discovery Research Grant-Writing E-Course

Writing a strong discovery research proposal begins well before the proposal itself. Researchers must first determine whether their idea fits discovery research, define what is not yet known, explain what new understanding the study could generate, and identify a funding scheme that supports the proposed work. Many early- and mid-career researchers in Africa have promising ideas but limited access to guidance on these early and important decisions.

The Online Discovery Research Grant-Writing Course, developed by the Afrique Research Support Hub, supports researchers through this process. It is primarily intended for early- and mid-career researchers working in health and related fields in Africa.
